We don't use a server, which means your data never leaves your computer. It's private, secure, and stays with you.

How to Use Your Map 🗺️

📍 Adding & Managing Pins

Quick Add: Click anywhere on the map to drop a new pin instantly.
Customizing: Give your pins unique titles, colors, and shapes to keep them distinct.
Rich Notes: Use Markdown to add detailed descriptions, links, or even tables to your pins.

💾 Data & Safety (Important!)

Local Storage: Your data is stored in your browser. It's fast and private, but not eternal.
Exporting: Use the Export JSON button regularly to save your work to a file.
Importing: Drag in a JSON or CSV file.
CSV Format: Requires latitude, longitude, title. Optional: notes, size, shape, color.

🖱️ Shortcuts & Tips

Double Click a marker to edit it immediately.
Search Bar: Use it to quickly find pins by their title or note content.
Drag & Drop: Reorder your pins in the sidebar to keep your favorites at the top!
ESC key: Quickly close any modal or clear the search field.
